The Monk Diamond was discovered when Proffessor Bairstone, Dr Day and Ernest where on a fossil hunting trip in Syberia.
They had just started looking in a cave when Ernest, thier dog, started barking at a rock. They went closer to get a closer look
and saw a small nook in the edge of the rock. They then discovered that there was something was in the nook!
They reached in carefully and thier hands came out with a small, dusty box. Inside the box lay the Monk Diamond, shining in all it's glory. Here is a picture of the team:
